I did not set out to be a coach, coaching came to me. Coaching was my natural leadership style while I spent 20 years leading teams in the workplace. I have worked in both big business (listed companies) and still run our own successful family business.

By far the thing that I enjoyed most about my leadership roles has been coaching people to reach toward their full potential.

My formal coaching studies have led me to become a member of the International Coaches Federation and I have completed hundreds of hours of coaching people from all walks of life and with very different goals for their coaching.

I am a bit addicted to studying… I also have qualifications in Human Resources, Project Management, Business and am even a Charted Accountant. I have practical experience working in all those fields. When it comes to career change, I have lived it as well as coached others through it.

I love taking my broad knowledge and applying it through coaching and mentoring to watch others grow and I get a real thrill as people achieve their goals.

Coaching is about listening and asking questions to help you come to a conclusion and breakthrough whatever it is that is holding you back.

My personal style of coaching combines Evidence Based Coaching, Strength Based Coaching and the use of Organisational Psychology (the science of how we work) to apply it all to your situation.

Coaching is not about telling you what to do. It can be about discussing options and choosing a plan of action to achieve goals.

In each session we will chat and I will ask lots of questions. This helps me to get an understanding of the situation, what you are thinking about the situation and what you feel are the possible next steps. My role is to open your mind to what is possible and help you find a path that will work for you.

In some areas, like time management, I will have done a lot of research into the topic and be able to point you towards some strategies that might be answer for you. This saves you the time of doing all the reading to finding the right answer for your situation.

One Guarantee: There will be pre work and post work for each session. Your effort doesn’t end after the talking stops. Preparing, reflecting and putting things into practice will be when you see the big changes!
